California Travel Impacts by County, 1992-2006
2007 Preliminary State Estimates

This report describes the direct economic impacts of travel to and through
the state of California and each of its 58 counties from 1992 through 2006.
Preliminary estimates for 2007 are provided at the State level only. These
findings show the level of travel spending by those traveling to and through the
state, and the impact this spending has on the economy in terms of earnings,
employment and tax revenue. A primary objective of this research is to provide
reliable, detailed figures that allow comparisons from year-to-year for the
state and county levels.
