This report describes the economic impacts of travel to and through
the state of Washington over the time period 1991 to 2007. These findings
show the level of travel spending by those traveling to and through the state
and the impact this spending has on the economy in terms of earnings,
employment, and tax revenue. The estimates for 2007 are preliminary and
will be revised when more complete data becomes available. A primary
objective of this research is to provide reliable, detailed figures that
allow comparisons from year-to-year at the state and county levels.
